I have sent this question out to the board.  Hopefully someone will have more information.  I don't know of a company.  But I do know that if you call your news stations, sometimes they will annouce a Shred-It day and you can take all your shredding there.  Big massive machines take care of everything. 

Hopefully someone else will know of a company.

I have been talking to another board member.  We are waiting to hear back from someone that just might have some answers for you.  I don't want you to think we are not looking for you.  Hang on.  Good question.  I wasn't aware that there were companies that do this, but we are checking into it.

We have had a response from Melissa DeMong.  I've copied her advice on what to do below...

"I've taken them to Granger for years and I always ask where they want them because it depends on what type of steno paper you use as to whether they want them in the office paper or in with the newspapers.  It also depends on where you take them because the ink can make a difference to certain companies.  Our blue ink is not an easily recycled ink."

I hope this helps, Diane.  My two cents, if the last two suggestions won't work for you, I've always just called my friends over, grabbed our favorite beverage and had a huge fire in the backyard.  :)  Always a good option.
